The Element Hotel in Detroit was kind enough to allow me to photograph "after" images of the Metropolitan building once it had opened up to the public. The Roxbury Group did a fantastic job renovating it, it was surreal to see a building that I had once seen in shambles to look so beautiful. They loved the before/after images I put together for my project and asked to get some prints made so they could hang them on the second floor of the hotel.
